The Starter Kit This is a 2000 watt kit that includes everything you need to setup and run your system for true Grid Tie sine wave inverters. This includes the following:

8 -250 watt  solar panels with all the brackets and hardware to set these up on a rooftop or ground mount system. The inverters will be grid tie capable and we will include all the wiring for an normal size to 100 feet distance. All the required switches and disconnects will be included. The price for this kit is

$14,000.00 CDN for the kit

$18,500.00 CDN for the kit and installation

Since all solar panels are modular in nature we can size a system smaller or larger to suit your family budget as needed. Depending on your needs this can be setup either as the micro-generation feed-in tarrif. Cost of setting up each are extra.

The home independence kit is 5000watts of power. The kit includes everything you need to setup and run your panels array and with the micro-FIT by  Ontario Power Authority.  The kit includes:

20 - 250 watt solar panels and all the hardware to set this up on a roof mount system or even a ground mount (some extra charge if cement pad is required for ground mount) It has all the required switches and disconnects and 100 feet of wiring.

$35,000.00 CDN for the kit

$40,500.00 CDN for kit and installation.

Depending on the home's normal electrical usage this should make you home free from hydro bills and may even have extra to sell back to the grid. We can reduce this to  your needs . Depending on your budget this can be setup as micro-generation feed-in tarrif. Cost of setting up each are extra.

Let me take some time here to talk about the various mounting options you can have. There always is the standard roof top mounting where the panels sit about 8 inches off the roof for ventilation purposes and they are stationary. This is what so many people have used as their entry into solar production. These perform flawlessly but they are at the mercy of the roof angle and the direction of the roof as opposed to being ideally facing true south and a 40 degree slope. These do not perform well in the early mornings and the late daytime hours. But they still can give you clean reliable energy. But again they are not the most efficient in getting the most from the sun. Even tough a solar panel will produce at some level with ambient light it will not achieve its best production until the light id hitting it more directly. This is where tracking system come into play. with sun tracking system the panels move to face the morning sun rise and then track it all day to make sure the panels are at the best angle to get the most power from any given light. These can increase your production by up to 60%, and while they do cost more and have moving parts that means wear and tear they do pay for themselves in a reasonable amount of time. Roof mount tracking system can become complex things and so it is only possible to give a price after we see the type of mount we have to build to make things work for you. We make all our own tracking mounts and we design each one to the exact features for each job. Depending on the size of the system the tracking can add from $4,000.00 and up to a cost. but when you can make that pay for itself in a few years it is well worth the money. Never try to compare a tracking and non-tracking system against each other as they are two different animals and the tracking will always outperform the non tracking. if you are doing this to get the most from the system then tracking arrays are always the better choice. The easiest tracking arrays are ground mounted on a steel pipe and they have actuator arms similar to the old big satellite dishes. These do not require computer control but we do have some where you can monitor and set things from your computer desktop. As we manufacture all of this ourselves it will go towards the Ontario domestic content requirements.
